Activation & Licensing

This page explains how to activate your Pro license, move a license between sites, and purchase additional licenses for the plugin.

Activate a License

After purchasing the plugin from our site you will receive an email with instructions on how to access your account.

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Go to the Subscriptions tab.
  3. Under the License column, copy your license key.
  4. Open the Licensing tab in the plugin options on your site.
  5. Paste your license key and click Save Changes.

License Limits

Each license can be activated on the number of sites allowed by the plan you purchased:

  • Personal – 1 site
  • Freelance – 5 sites
  • Agency – 25 sites

Example

If you purchased a Freelance (5 sites) license, it can be activated on up to 5 sites. Attempting to activate it on a 6th site will fail.

What Happens If the License Isn’t Activated?

If the plugin is not activated with a valid license key:

  • It will not receive updates and will remain on the version originally installed (or the last version received while the license was valid).
  • An admin notification will appear at the top of all plugin pages, informing you that the plugin cannot receive updates.

Moving Licenses Between Sites

You can deactivate a license on one site to free a slot and use that license on another site. This is common when moving from a staging site to a production site.

To deactivate a license activation:

  1. Log in to your account and open the Subscriptions tab.
  2. In the Site Activations column, you will see all URLs currently using the license.
  3. Click the “X” icon next to the site you want to deactivate.

Once deactivated, copy your license key and use it to activate the plugin on the new site.

Upgrading or Downgrading Licenses

Our system does not support automated license upgrades or downgrades (e.g., converting an existing license between Personal, Freelance, and Agency).

Depending on your situation:

  • Purchased the Wrong License by Mistake – Contact our support team, explain the issue, and request a refund for the incorrect license. You can then purchase the correct one.
  • Need More Site Slots – If you need additional activations, you may purchase an additional license. See the section below.

Buying Additional Licenses on the Same Account

You can purchase multiple licenses under the same account, and they may be of the same tier or different tiers.

To purchase an additional license:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. While logged in, visit the product page for the plugin. If you opened the product page before logging in, reload it.
  3. Complete the purchase.

Important Note

You must be logged in before opening the checkout form. Our checkout does not require login, so placing an order without logging in while using the email of an existing account will create a conflict.

Orders placed without logging in that match an existing account cannot be provisioned and will be refunded within 24 hours.
